No matter your view on Kim Kardashian’s divorce or relationship status, you’ve got to take a minute to view the beautiful designer shoes and dresses worn by the reality starlet on sale at the current eBay Fashion Vault designer discount sale.
That’s right, there’s an online sale going on now at Ebay’s Fashion Vault for Kim Kardashians Dresses, clothes and of course, her amazing shoes. And perusing through the stylish closet of the once personal stylist to the stars, I breathed a sigh of relief when realizing that we do not share the same dress size. Whew! Dodged an expensive bullet there!
But just when I thought I was safe from the sale, I checked the shoe collection and fell in love with the Zebra Print Platform Christian Louboutin Heels. These brilliant shoes worn by Kim Kardashian on the red carpet of her life are up for the bidding for the next 4 days. And though I have a strange aversion to wearing others’ shoes, these are amazing. I love them. And as luck would have it, they are my size. They fit my feet right, but my wallet’s a bit too tight for them at the moment. But they could be yours.
Of course, there are other gorgeous shoes and clothes in the current eBay Fashion Vault, the top fashion sale portal of designer clothes and shoes, admitting to the gorgeousness that is Kim Kardashian style.

A new report over the weekend from Business Insider, states “Rich People Say This is Their Favorite Department Store,” so the more you money you have, the more you like to spend it at Nordstrom.
At first, I was a bit surprised that the poll wasn’t topped by Bergdorf’s or Barneys New York, but after careful consideration and reflection on my own personal shopping experiences at all the major retailers just mentioned, Nordstrom has my vote, including the Nordstrom in Scottsdale at Scottsdale Fashion Square. And whether or not you’ve got thousands to drop in one shopping excursion, here are a few of my shopping tips for how to shop at Nordstrom and why I love to shop there:
- Well maintained store and store design – The Nordstroms in Scottsdale is clean, well lit and well maintained, making it a friendly shopping environment.
- Friendly staff – Nordstroms has long a industry reputations for treating their sales staff with respect and it’s obvious as to how long employees stay with the company. I routinely see the same sales staff at Nordstroms in Scottsdale.
- Spa, restaurant, coffee shop and other services on site – It’s a one stop shop for a pleasant day just by visiting this one store.
- Merchandising – The merchandising of quality brands is fabulous and makes it easy to find the styles and the latest trends you want.
- Sales and discounts – The twice yearly sales in June and January are always something to look forward to and save up for! Plus, regular sales and discounts on quality merchandise are comfortable and not “in your face” so to speak. And of course, Nordstrom Rack, another of our favorite stores in Scottsdale, is amazing for discounted merchandise. I frequent the North Scottsdale Nordstrom Rack and the Chandler Rack, near Chandler Fashion Center often.
- Variety of brands – I can shop for the entire family at Nordstroms in a variety of budgets.
- Family friendly – I speak from personal experience here when I say wheeling your screaming child through the store won’t gain snide looks and glances, furthering your distress and embarrassment! And the ladies room has comfortable chairs and lounge for things like nursing your baby. As I, again, can personally vouch for.
- How to Shop Nordstrom in Scottsdale (A few of my favorite shopping tips…): 1. My favorite time to shop is when the store first opens for the best selection and for a freshly organized store. 2. You can make an appointment with an on staff personal shopper to help guide your shopping experience. Or make an appointment to meet me there with you to navigate the store layout. 3. Park at the back covered garage on the street level or level 2 off Goldwater Blvd. near The Waterfront, just behind the store so you don’t have to walk through the mall, especially with kids. Level 1 parking does NOT have a direct entrance to the store, so you’ll have to take the stairs or elevator if you park on this level.
Though I consider myself and equal-opportunity shopper and visit other stores in Scottsdale regularly and not any more or less than, it’s easy for me to see why Nordstroms topped the Business Insiders list. And I can’t forget, Nordstrom Rack is always close to my heart for great deals!

We love shiny, sparkly things. Don’t you?
Metallics ruled the red carpet recently at the Met Ball Gala in New York City and I have been searching for how to incoporate a shine into my summer wardrobe without overheating my budget and myself as summer kicks in. And I found these Diane Von Furstenburg Boymuda shorts in Metallic Silver are a fabulous option to stay cool and cool in this summer.
How to Wear Metallics: I consider metallics to be neutral so they mix and match well. Any of the metallic shorts will work with white tops, even simple white button downs for summer.
How to Wear Silver: And try silver-based metallics with warm colors like a soft pastel peach.
How to Wear Gold: Likewise, mix your golds with your cooler colors like blues.
How to Wear Them Both: Mix and match silvers and golds together. Wearing a silver metallic short like the DVF Boymuda? Mix with a gold watch and a few mixed silver and gold bracelets and bangles.
