Just being surrounded by the exquisite lingerie, jewelry, gifts and home accessories at Anastasia’s Bath, Body, Boudoir inspired me to be more sexy and sophisticated this Valentine’s week. Anastasia’s owner, Lilly Norman, said she wanted to create “a special environment with special merchandise…both beautiful and extraordinary in some way.” And I believe she’s succeeded.

I wasn’t sure of what to expect or what I would find for little old me at a “boudoir” store. But I think I was in the store for maybe 10 seconds before I fell in love with everything and with Lilly! She’s so warm and friendly, with amazing taste for what’s sexy and sophisticated, without being sleazy.

Anastasia’s lingerie includes high-quality European designers such as Jolidon, Lise Charmel, Aubade, Chantal Thomas and Huit. After much research, even a 22 person focus group, Lilly decided to carry mostly European designers because of the comfort and the overall quality of the lingerie. Some pieces inlaid with pearls, trimmed with Chantilly lace and adorned with Swarovski crystals are a splurge, but even the most affordable pieces were equally unique and luxurious.

And the jewelry!! Earrings from Paris, necklaces by SiSi Amber and this week, Lilly received a new collection of handmade, Turkish jewelry by Hollywood designer Huseyin Sagtan. These pieces crafted all by hand from ancient French molds are wearable art.

Lastly, Anastasia’s Boutique welcomes private shopping parties, offering a fun evening of small bites, wine, dessert and shopping! It’s FREE for the hostess and her guests and guests even receive a free gift bag.
