Tres Chic!

“I love to shop at antique malls. I frequent them for my interior design clients but while I’m there I get to find little treasures for myself; mostly hats, purses, scarfs, shoes and the occasional blouse. But for the majority of the time I love American Apparel, Urban Outfitters and, of course…Forever 21 (you can’t beat their prices or the fact that they are great at staying up with all the latest and greatest trends). Buffalo Exchange is great, as well, especially for fun vintage clothing.

As far as designers go, I don’t really watch for one designer or another nor do I really know many of their names or collections (embarrassingly enough a girl once told me that she loved my YSL bag…I had no idea what she was talking about! I had picked it up at an estate sale for $5. She “kindly” informed me that she meant Yves Saint Laurent (whom I had not heard of.) . But I will say that I am greatly influenced by fashion icons throughout history; Audrey Hepburn, Doris Day, Twiggy, Eddie Sedgwick…I could go on and on. To me it is more about the the look than the label.”
