Shopping is good for your health!

My workout bag
Like any fashionista, shopping is my cardio! However, I do still drop in to the gym to keep it tight in those special areas once in awhile.
Wednesdays are my real gym days and like usual, I spend the entire drive to my dreaded workout trying to rationalize hitting the mall instead. Today, no exception. I say to myself as I’m cruising by Scottsdale Fashion Square, “If shopping is my cardio, doesn’t that make the mall my gym? Salespeople, my personal trainers – they keep me looking and feeling fabulous?” Mmmm…
No rationale was worthy today. I made it to Pure Fitness and just as I slung my “workout bag” on the table of my friend and personal trainer’s desk, he laughed and said, “That’s your workout bag!” Haha!! Ever the shopper am I!
On the subject of working out, if you’re interested in Pilates Corps in Scottsdale is hosting a Mind, Body & Bubbly class Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy a complimentary workout or just observe the class with a glass of bubbly! Love it!! Check out www.pilatescorps.com.

Lol, you’re right, when at the mall we practice our legs ( lots of steps to go from a boutique to another!), our arms (to find the masterpiece! and to hold the bags) and our brain!! ( we have to calculate how much our “work out day” cost and it can give a headache sometimes)
Why the hell do we complicate our lives going to the gym if going to the mall makes the same (better?) effect on our bodies!!
