The San Francisco menswear collection, Alley, will be hosting a fashion show at W Scottsdale tomorrow night, June 24th at 10:45 pm.

I must say, I am pretty excited about a runway show for menswear. In fact, I’ve never been to one! I love the classic, casual looks of the line created by middle school sweethearts, Laura Patnaude and John Robblee of San Francisco.  The brand was designed to fill a niche, that of menswear for the athletic male seeking stylish, relaxed work and after-work-wear.

The line combines John’s background as a Bay Area firefighter with pieces tailored for a more athletic build and Laura’s upbringing around a family farm incorporating soft twills, cotton and canvas, among other durable textiles. The line is somewhat edgy and contemporary yet casual and functional. Sounds fabulous!
