So, I won’t be heading to the Robert Black sale tomorrow starting at 9:00 am, though I hope you still are! I would love it if you emailed me pictures of the fabulous pieces you find.

I’ve been feeling so blue recently. Dazed, confused – in a funk. I hate it. Just traveling along my life as best I can, going through the motions – wake up, eat, feed child, eat, check email, blog, eat, stare blankly, grab a latte, eat, shower child, snack, laundry, wine, dessert, bed. Apparently eating my feelings along the way.

Normally, a little retail therapy at an amazing sale such as Robert Black’s would do wonders for my fashion-loving soul, and of course my closet. However, not even a new vintage dress or clutch from the most amazing local collection will do this time. Consumption won’t budge this sludgy state I’m in. Only giving will.

So tomorrow at 9:00 am, I will be sporting sweat pants (do I have any anymore?! I may have to run to Target , pony tail and rubber gloves to help a sick mommy with cancer clean her house. You can help too, maybe not tomorrow or this weekend, but you can. Helping others in need is always in style. There are so many ways, organizations, individuals who can use a little help, inspiration, an ear to bend right now, including myself. Often we forget, sometimes the inspiration or the gift you need in your life, is in the giving.
