Patches of Pumpkin

The pumpkin patch at McDonald and Scottsdale Roads.

Fall has finally fell. For me, native to Arizona, the moniker of fall isn’t changing leaves and chilly morns. It’s the arrival Halloween! No matter the temperature, October 31st marks an unofficial fall of Fall and gives desert dwellers like me, still complaining about the summer heat and air conditioning, a push into the holiday season.

I’m loving patches of pumpkin and auburn shades sprinkled throughout my favorite stores, catalogs and designer collections right now. Hues of orange add a pop of festive color to the basic blacks and greys of fall and winter.

Fashion Phoenix & Singleton Moms Needs Your Help!!

Dear Friends Of Fashion Phoenix,

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

Fashion Phoenix is asking for financial donations for the brave mommies of Singleton Moms to provided cocktail dresses for their upcoming “Giving Hands Gala”. Singleton Moms is a local charity helping actively sick single mommies with cancer, currently undergoing chemotherapy, radiation and surgical treatments. Read more at www.singletonmoms.org.

Though there are many fantastic charities supporting breast cancer and cancer research, Singleton Moms is actively supporting single mothers with cancer with house keeping, healthy meals, financial assistance and more. As a mother, I couldn’t imagine being so sick as to not be able to care for myself or worse, my children. The kindness and care of Singleton Moms is so important to help each woman and their family continue on the path to recovery and wellness.

The Giving Hands Ball is one night of fun and fabulosity for the women of Singleton Moms. This year, 16 dresses are needed and we need your help! Let’s help make the evening of some very special Phoenician women one of fun and fashion!!

FOR DONATIONS OVER $500, FASHION PHOENIX WILL GLADLY POST A BANNER AD ON OUR SITE FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER!

For more on Singleton Moms or to make your donation, contact andy@singletonmoms.org. Or contact kira@fashionphoenix.com.

xo. Have a great weekend! Do something fashionable – it’s great for your health!
