Vivienne Westwood.

Vivienne Westwood has been rockin’ the runway since 1981 with her dramatic and individualistic designs. She began designing clothes in 1971 and dressed The Sex Pistols in the late 1970′s with her partner Malcolm McLaren. Westwood has also been named British designer of the year twice and was awarded an OBE. In 2006, her contribution towards British Fashion was officially recognized when she was appointed a Dame.
One of my favorite dresses of the moment is from Vivienne Westwood’s Anglomania collection, a playful printed cotton dress. This garment is refreshingly simple for summer, fits true to size and is 100% cotton.
Another favorite of mine is also from the Anglomania collection, the Hop N’ Skip Dress. This flirty dress is 100% viscose, is unlined and features split cap sleeves, a cowl neckline, detachable belt and two front pockets.
Known for her avant-garde and unconventional style, Westwood always seems to find a way to reinvent concepts of beauty, to provoke and motivate conceptual thinking. What I love most about Vivienne Westwood is that she’s unashamed and brave. She is acknowledged to be one of the most influential fashion designers in the world yet has a unique ability to maintain an aura of mystery. Expect the unexpected with Westwood; her creativity is infinite.
