Do you have an idea that might fail? Something so absurd and smart that you need a taxidermy animal to help present it? Ever organize and entire community of drag queens to sing a Blake Shelton song? Want to heal your complicated relationship with Arizona? Then a GOOD ‘N PLENTY grant could be for you! We’re opening it up to ANY and ALL Creatives (chefs, knitters, stilt walkers, painters, comedians, cat hair ball jewelry makers… you get the idea)
Your crazy idea just may get a little funding from the grant-Gods, in conjunction with SMoCA, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, a Scottsdale museum.
Depending on attendance at the event, a GOOD ‘N PLENTY grant is about $400-$800. The best projects are those that will remain unfinished, in process or otherwise unquantifiable. So think BIG and let this small grant help you along the way! Also, consider your audience, please. Projects are more likely to get votes from the community if they can see what the heck you are proposing. If your project is selected to be presented at the GOOD ‘N PLENTY event, make sure it is clear, concise, fun, engaging and atypical!
