Fall has finally fell. For me, native to Arizona, the moniker of fall isn’t changing leaves and chilly morns. It’s the arrival Halloween! No matter the temperature, October 31st marks an unofficial fall of Fall and gives desert dwellers like me, still complaining about the summer heat and air conditioning, a push into the holiday season.

I’m loving patches of pumpkin and auburn shades sprinkled throughout my favorite stores, catalogs and designer collections right now. Hues of orange add a pop of festive color to the basic blacks and greys of fall and winter.

And I’m just crazy for the new Tiffany & Co. Yellow Diamond collection. The newest designs, with hand-picked gems from a world renowned Western Australian mine, are showcasing radiant, pure as sunlight yellow diamonds in the most perfect shades of yellow.

So I found myself yesterday. Feeling a little blue. And wandering into Tiffany’s at Scottsdale Fashion Square to introduce myself to the happy yellow darlings. Happy. Yellow. Diamonds. My new favorite thing.
