Choo On These…

KIRA

The Jimmy Choo trainer for Pre-Fall 2010 has hit the streets.  Jimmy Choo, the London-born company known for some of the most elegantly stylish pumps and luxurious footwear to make any fashion-minded woman gush with glee, is steppin’ out with their own rendition of the classic high-top and low-top trainer starting at $465. I got the chance to audition a couple of pairs this week at the Jimmy Choo – Scottsdale Fashion Square store, relishing every bit of each fantastic pair!

KIRA3

First off, the soft insides of the shoes are heavenly on the feet. It’s no wonder that these leather-lined luxury trainers have fashion-forward celebs including Katie Holmes and Madonna trading in heels and sandals for the new Choos, described by the company as ‘perfect for chic run-around days.’ Secretly, I kinda feel a slight connection with both glamour-moms knowing I’ve walked, at least a few steps, in their shoes!

The outside of the trainers are just as delish as the insides with soft suedes, leathers, patent leathers and exotic elaphe snakeskins garnished with star lace-eyelets and star patterned soles. My favorites, the Miami low-top ($495) with its white and silver suede available now in store, pairs nicely with jeans, crisp white shorts for summer or a casual dress as I’ve shown. Of course, for those prepping for their Summer/ Fall 2010 nuptials, my I dare suggest these fabulous, comfort-minded shoes for your wedding celebration – ala Annie Banks in Father of the Bride?!

The photos, the hype, the celeb clients – merely offer a taste of how fantastic these shoes are. Take my word, Choo on them yourself! xo

Lots of lovely ladies at Olive & Ivy last night for FGI AZ’s “Sex & The City 2″ event before the ladies headed to the theater to take in the newly released, highly anticipated movie! The fun started with flatbread, appetizers, cosmos and a beautiful SATC2 inspired cake by Chef Damarys Nimeth of Dolce Art Cakes. After the nibbles, guests enjoyed SATC2 models demonstrating the looks of my four favorite big screen, big city ladies by stylists Shannon Campbell and Robert Ballew.  Here are the pics from last night’s event. So fun!

And finally, I loved the belly dancers. Loved them!! Their super sparkly outfits and that gentle, soothing sounds of the mini-cymbals. Such a nice surprise which ties nicely into the movie…
