Look what I got in the mail!! Yay! MB York’s “Beauty Ammo” kit – a 3-Step Kit to Combat and Camouflage Wrinkles around the eyes. The three part kit contains a “Pump It Up, Leave It on Collagen Eye Mask”, a Line Putty and the Camouflage Eye Disguise Concealer.
I had a loooong day yesterday and was so excited when I discovered box, filled with hot-pink happiness outside my door. And just in time for the first day of Phoenix Fashion Week!
Fashion Phoenix would like to take a minute to thank postal workers, UPS and FedEx employees. Thank you for delivering my Vogue, my Beauty Ammo kit and anything else my little heart desires!

My workout bag
Like any fashionista, shopping is my cardio! However, I do still drop in to the gym to keep it tight in those special areas once in awhile.
Wednesdays are my real gym days and like usual, I spend the entire drive to my dreaded workout trying to rationalize hitting the mall instead. Today, no exception. I say to myself as I’m cruising by Scottsdale Fashion Square, “If shopping is my cardio, doesn’t that make the mall my gym? Salespeople, my personal trainers – they keep me looking and feeling fabulous?” Mmmm…
No rationale was worthy today. I made it to Pure Fitness and just as I slung my “workout bag” on the table of my friend and personal trainer’s desk, he laughed and said, “That’s your workout bag!” Haha!! Ever the shopper am I!
On the subject of working out, if you’re interested in Pilates Corps in Scottsdale is hosting a Mind, Body & Bubbly class Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy a complimentary workout or just observe the class with a glass of bubbly! Love it!! Check out www.pilatescorps.com.

Genevieve Jones Wishing Safety Pin Earrings
I hate to admit this. I may never admit this again…but I just don’t agree with my idol Rachel Zoe’s love of these “Wishing Safety Pin” earrings. I’m thinking the designer was “wishing” I could be fooled into thinking these are fab. There – I said it!

I got dark red “perfect for fall” hair color on my new, bright white Ann Taylor Loft cardigan yesterday! Uggh! I thought it was going to be a casualty of color when a friend said try dish soap. So I scrubbed, then soaked in Ajax Antibacterial Dish Liquid, then a little bleach! Voila!! I woke up this morning to a perfectly white cardigan!! Yay!! I imagine if you used Dawn brand dish soap, you could soften your hands while removing stains!
Make it a great Friday. Do something fun and fashionable! xo
