We heART art! Here’s a recap of the CO-OPhx event this past Saturday in downtown Phoenix.

The second cooperative event put on by the CO-OPhx, the ART CO-OP took place this past Saturday at the co-founders home in downtown Phoenix. Put together to reflect an “artist’s dream”, there was recycled “found” art everywhere from flowers cut out of paint swatch card-stock and newspaper to white sphere lanterns pinned against the wooden fence, the ART CO-OP truly was a creative wonderland.

As a cooperative event, attendees were encouraged to bring “found” items to recycle and art supplies to contribute. With everyone’s contributions there was limitless possibilities to create. A few creations included: melted crayon art on canvas, spray-painted galaxies and broken glass mosaic frames.  To create a truly social event, snacks and drinks were thrown into the mix from The Hive, a Nutrition Club in Tempe focused on positivity-community-energy-and vitality serving up energizing herbal teas and shakes as well as olives, tomato-basil flavored popcorn and kettle chips provided by The Queen Creek Olive Mill.

Oh yum! Naked and Famous has just released their new scented jeans at HUB Clothing at Scottsdale Fashion Square, flavored with the scent of raspberry candy. So yum! They smell good enough to eat even after 5 washes, but we advise to keep the flavor as part of your ensemble and out of your mouth!!
