I’ve been battling dry, brittle and lackluster hair for the past few months. With the weather change and the dry, winter air, my hair’s texture and lack of shine is bordering embarrassing. And I’ve been searching for a hair care system that works.
So it seemed serendipitous that one evening when up late at night with a sick son, that the Wen by Chas Dean hair care system came on. And just after the first demo as narrated by Alyssa Milano, my son said, “Mom. You should buy Wen for your hair.” No kidding. My 5 year old had noticed my dry hair too. I should try it. So I logged on and ordered. Eight hours later my son asked if the Wen Cleansing Conditioner had arrived. Not yet.
Seems we were both excited for mommy to have soft blonde hair again.
So it came. And I have tried it on my dry, damaged hair. And if you don’t feel like reading on, here’s the bottom line about the hair care system: Wen Cleansing Conditioner works for me. I needed two applications and the Re Moist Treatment that comes in the kit for $29.99, but my hair feels great. And looks shiny and healthy and I’m excited to try it again for the third time today.
For those of you who need the details on Wen and how it worked for me, read more after the jump:

Old isn’t anything to have near your face and this includes your makeup. Ditch the old compact and give your makeup a makeover with Zethina’s cosmetic trade in program. Until May 5, the cosmetic and skin care spa company is taking your old makeup, and giving you $5 for each old cosmetic item towards the purchase of a new item. Trade in all your old junk and stockpile the good stuff to pile on your pretty face. Products must be full-sized to participate.
