You’ve gotta wash that hipster boyfriend right out of your hair, or at least have him wash his own. It’s all possible thanks to a Brooklyn-based soap company, Wembé, and their interactive Facebook campaign to promote personal hygiene and put an end to the growing problem of dirty hipsters that seems to be sweeping the nation. Just send in a picture of the smelly guy in your life (or of yourself) and the picture with the most “likes” will win all kinds of eco-friendly soap. Check out their Facebook Fan Page. If there is any question as to what qualifies someone as a hipster, read more and find out.
You might be a hipster if:
Your girlfriend can wear your jeans
Your girlfriend can’t wear your jeans because they’re too tight
You don’t have a girlfriend because your general untidiness and usual Pig Pen-esque cloud of cigarette smoke is off-putting
You would never consider footwear outside the Vans/Converse/Toms family
You smell like you haven’t showered weeks and are more comfortable that way
You swear that you liked that band before they sold-out
Your “totally original look” can be easily achieved by walking into any Urban Outfitters, American Apparel or Buffalo Exchange
You consider neon a wardrobe staple
You bought a record player because “you like the imperfections in the sound”

Love it. The air of the Caribbean is taking over. Calypso St. Barth opens at Scottsdale Quarter in North Scottsdale. Calypso St. Barth also has a great collection for Target right now. I especially love the pieces for little girls.

I love who I am on the inside and out.
I accept my physical imperfections and am happy with my body as it is. I don’t compare myself to others, nor do I go to extraordinary lengths to look like the women I see in the media. I don’t think that I would be happier if I was just taller, thinner, prettier or younger. I like the extraordinary person I am. I strive for excellence, not perfection. I seek opportunities to know myself better, and develop my talents and abilities. I understand that life is about living wholeheartedly.
This week’s affirmation focuses on self acceptance. The theme of acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses resonates in the words of Hugh Prather who said: “Unless I accept my faults I will most certainly doubt my virtues”.
