Rachel Zoe recently unveiled her debut collection. WWD reports, “The look is predominantly tailored in a chic albeit Seventies way.” Zoe doesn’t disappoint when it comes to the tiny details such as gold Lurex on tie-neck blouses and layers of organza on party dresses. The outerwear is practical and stylish, consisting of capes and leather coats. Zoe is also releasing handbags and shoes.

Prices will range from $250 for a day dress and $700 for a full tuxedo look. The manufacturing firm Zoe is working with, Li & Fung, say they haven’t secured any retailers yet but Zoe envisions the collection next to Diane von Furstenberg, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang.  I can definitely see two of Zoe’s clients, Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson wearing the clothes. When accessorizing it’s all about the perfect statement piece, especially if you love handbags just as much as I do. I recently purchased the Ted Baker ‘Tube Chain’ Snake Embossed Metallic Leather Shopper and immediately fell in love with the edgy detail and classic shape. The snake-embossed leather is soft and the metallic isn’t dull or too bright. The interior is a floral print, spacious and has plenty of pockets.
