A couple months ago I heard about this amazing site from one of my friend’s called Etsy. I often find one of a kind, handmade and vintage items and share the links with friends. Today I am going to share with you some of my favorite Etsy shops. Etsy was founded in 2005 by Rob Kalin. Etsy’s mission is “to enable people to make a living making things, and to reconnect makers with buyers.”
Leanne Marshall, Season 5 winner of Project Runway opened her Etsy store, Leanimal, in August 2007. My favorite dresses are the Betty White dress and the Helene Wedding dress. Both dresses are ethereal, well structured and made of organic materials.
Babooshka Boutique sells comfy knits, oversized shirts, turbans and maxi skirts. I love the Mesh Maxi Vamp Cardigan and the Floral Mesh Geometric Cardigan. Currently, the store is having a holiday sale at 40% off! Babooshka was also featured in InStyle magazine’s article, “Best of the Web 2010.”
If you’re interested in vintage clothing, you absolutely need to check out adVintagous. The store sells clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories. The vintage 60’s faux leopard coat is one of my favorite items from the store. Fashion Phoenix has asked a few of our fashionable friends for their lust list this year. One of our favorite fashionable ladies Tierra Wilson, otherwise known as The Fashion Techie, is hoping Jolly ‘Ole Saint Nick slips the Chanel Color-Faded Calfskin Platform Boots under her Christmas Tree. We hope so too! Hopefully in size 7 so we can borrow!
