In celebration of Scottsdale Fashion Week, Janie Bryant, the renowned costume designer from “Mad Men” and “Deadwood“, will host a fashion show featuring the hottest Fall trends for men and women at Dillard’s Scottsdale Fashion Square. Immediately following the show Bryant will answer the audience’s burning fashion questions during a live Q & A. The first 100 shoppers who purchase $50 or more of regular price Dillard’s merchandise on September 6, will receive Bryant’s new book “The Fashion File”as a gift.
This event is free and sounds fabulous!! The show begins at 2 pm, Saturday, November 6th.

Born in Cleveland, Tennessee, Janie Bryant has always been obsessed with clothing and fashion. She began her road to stardom as a student, drawing and painting at Georgia State University, and later enrolled at the American College of Applied Arts to pursue her dream to become a fashion designer. After graduating Cum Laude, Bryant moved to Paris, and then to New York, where she worked closely with fashion designer John Scher. She has received national and international praise for her work on Mad Men and has inspired the collections of contemporary fashion designers. In 2008, Bryant won the award for “TV’s Most Stylish Show” for her work on Mad Men, presented by Hollywood Life Magazine. In each of 2009 and 2010, Bryant was nominated for a primetime Emmy for her work on Mad Men. She won a Costume Designer Guild award for her work on the series in 2009, and on has been honored with a 2nd consecutive nomination in 2010 which she also won.
The Press has covered her work extensively in such magazines and papers as the Los Angeles Times, Vanity Fair, GQ, Esquire, Women’s Wear Daily, Elle, Glamour, and the Wall Street Journal amongst others. She recently was cited in the Vanity Fair top 100 list of “The Most Influential People”.
